Meditation Practice Group

Every 2nd and 4th Monday, 6:45 p.m.

Come and join the meditation group at Cascadia House to find your center and experience that still, quiet place within that allows us to access profound peace. Meditation helps us to reduce stress, boost our immune system, and improve overall mood.

We meet in loving kindness to meditate, learn, grow, and share like-minded community. Members come from diverse backgrounds and skill levels and share meditation in a supportive sitting group.

The evening starts with a meet and greet, followed by a period of meditation. We'll then share tea, spiritual concepts, and principles in the form of readings, recordings, or short videos as topics for discussion with social time to follow.

We meet every 2nd and 4th Monday from 6:45 to 8:30pm. Backjacks and chairs are provided. If you have a favorite cushion or bench, please feel free to bring them.

If you are new to meditation, we highly recommended attending the Intro to Meditation Workshop (info below) before attending a sitting group session. Please Contact Cascadia House if you have any questions about the group.
